Abstract
Vsi udeleženci so v celoti rešiti anketni vprašalnik. Med njimi je bilo 213 moških (30,4 %) in 488 žensk (69,6%). Njihovi otroci so v povprečju stari 4 leta.

Title:Parent's opinions about sports activities of preschool children in Slovenian and Bosnian kindergarten
Abstract:
The purpose of the master's thesis was to determine whether there are differences in the opinions of parents in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia about sports activities in preschool age. We also wanted to get some information about why they involve their child in a sporting activity. We were also interested about parents' opinions about sports and the role they play in their child's participation in sports. 701 parents who completely filled out the questionnaire participated in the research. Among them were 213 men (30.4 %) and 488 women (69.6%). Their children are, on average, 4 years old. Approximately half of the respondents come from Slovenia (49.4 %), and half from Bosnia and Herzegovina (50.6%). We did a survey with the parents that consisted of 14 questions related to the parents' sports activity and the child's activity and involvement in sports activities. We sent the questionnaire in electronic form to kindergartens in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia. The obtained data wasprocessed with the SPSS computer program, we used the Hi2 test to test the hypotheses. Statistical significance was determined based on a statistical risk of 5%. The research showed statistically significant relationships between the frequency of playing sports between parents and children. A higher frequency of parental involvement in sports is statistically significantly related to a higher frequency of the child's movement during the week. We also found that parents with a higher level of education statistically significantly more often include their children in additional forms of sports activities than parents with a lower level of education. In the comparison between these two countries, we found that Slovenian parents more often include their children in additional forms of sports and that Slovenian parents agreed to a statistically significantly higher extent with all statements about the positive impact of sports activities on their child than Bosnian parents. The master's thesis will provide insight into the current state of awareness among parents of preschool children in Slovenian and Bosnian kindergartens and will serve as a good incentive for parents and educators to engage in sports activities as much as possible.
