Data is becoming an increasingly important part of company's functioning. Data collection and analysis help decision makers make objective, data-driven decisions. For this reason, data literacy is an important part of the competences of company employees. Staff competence alone is not enough to make decisions based on data. The democratization of data is also important, which means that data is available to employees in an appropriate format. User reviews are an example of data on which decisions are made for the development of products and services. Reviews represent an important touchpoint between the user and the business and they can be an important source of information about customer satisfaction. Businesses can pinpoint source of problems with the products or services from reviews. Departments ranging from product development to marketing can use the reviews to improve. Easy on demand access to reviews and analysis must therefore be established in order for stakeholders to be able to access reviews and use them to improve. Dashboards are an obvious solution to achieve easy access to reviews. During this master thesis the whole process from dashboard design to implementation is presented. Short history of dashboards, metric selection, visualizations and best practices are also presented in the context of growing importance of data in business decision making.
