In this master thesis we deal with identification of damage formation in photopolymer material. With advancing of additive technologies, 3D printing has become widely used and accessible technology for prototyping and functional parts. The material under consideration is used in 3D printing with inverted stereolithography using an LCD screen and UV lamps. The data about stress and deformation needed for evaluating the damage formation were obtained from tensile, compresive and cyclic tests. The specimens were also filmed with high speed camera during the tests. Recordings were analyzed visually and with the help of digital image corelation for the purpose of determining the used to determine the cause and dynamics of damage formation. The obtained results were compared with numerical analysis.
