The aim of the thesis was to design the packaging and visual identity for Bunch cider. The main goal was to create an inviting and functional label that would visually stand out from the competition. In addition, the goal was to create an image that would reflect the brand's values and was rooted in the tradition and domestic production of the cider.
The work included the selection of quality materials for the label, suitable and functional bottles and the use of a quality printer and cutter. In the process of designing the image and label, we used Procreate and Adobe Illustrator. We started in the first program, where we sketched ideas and created several versions, which we refined and finalized in the latter. First, we designed a corporate identity, where we first created the logo and selected the colors and fonts. This was followed by the design of the illustrations. After we designed and selected all the elements of the visual identity, we started designing the labels. We created many versions and selected the final label based on functionality and the best visual representation of the elements. Lastly we designed stationery items, merchandise and posters to furthermore establish the brand's identity. After the design was finished, we conducted a short survey about the graphic image of the brand. The aim of the survey was to obtain the respondents' opinion on the appropriateness of the image and labels, the clarity of the packaging and whether it stands out from the competition.
The result of the thesis is the creation of a visual brand identity and packaging for Bunch cider, which enables the manufacturer to realize the product.
