Načrtovanje preobrazbe totalne ustanove: študija primera : magistrsko delo

V magistrski nalogi raziskujemo proces načrtovanja preobrazbe v Domu na Krasu od aprila 2019 do marca 2022. Gre za prvi pilotni projekt v Sloveniji z namenom preobrazbe zavoda in oblikovanja modela preobrazbe podobnih zavodov. V raziskavi analiziramo načrt preobrazbe, potek preobrazbe in si podrobneje ogledamo proces načrtovanja preobrazbe zavoda. V teoretičnem delu osvetlimo, kaj pomeni dezinstitucionalizacija in kakšna so njena načela. Opišemo program dezinstitucionalizacije in predstavimo strateško načrtovanje organizacij. Na koncu teoretičnega dela opišemo načrt preobrazbe in njegovo vlogo v preobrazbi. V naslednjem poglavju formuliramo raziskovalni problem in raziskovalna vprašanja. V magistrskem delu smo raziskovali tri raziskovalna področja (izdelek oziroma načrt preobrazbe, proces načrtovanja in kontekst preobrazbe), njihova razmerja pa predstavimo v obliki trikotnika. V empiričnem delu predstavimo vsebino načrta preobrazbe Doma na Krasu, časovni potek in ključne dogodke v okviru (načrtovanja) preobrazbe. V empiričnem delu predstavimo protagoniste preobrazbe skupaj z njihovimi pričakovanimi in dejanskimi vlogami. V nadaljevanju analiziramo razmerja raziskovalnih področij in njihovih učinkov in odgovorimo na raziskovalna vprašanja. Na koncu predstavimo nekaj predlogov in usmeritev za načrtovanje preobrazbe.

• Title: Planning the Transformation of a Total Institution: A Case Study : magistrsko delo

Abstract

The focus of my thesis is investigating the process of planning the transformation of the institution Dom na Krasu from April 2019 to March 2022. The project is the first of its kind in Slovenia with the aim of transforming the institution and creating a model for the transformation of similar institutions. In the research, we analyse the transformation plan, the transformation process and take a closer look at the process of planning the transformation of the institution. In the theoretical part, we shed light on what deinstitutionalization means and what its principles are. It includes the description of the deinstitutionalization programme and presents the strategic planning of organizations. At the end of the theoretical part, we describe the transformation plan and its role in the transformation of the institution. In the next chapter, we formulate the research problem and research questions. In the master's thesis, we explore three research areas (the product or transformation plan, the planning process and the context of the transformation), and present their relations in the form of a triangle. In the empirical part, we present the content of the Dom na Krasu transformation plan, the time course and key events in the context of (planning) the transformation. In this part, we also present the protagonists of the transformation along with their expected and actual roles. Furthermore, we analyse the relationships between the research areas and their effects. At the end we answer the research questions and present suggestions for planning the transformation of the total institutions in the future.
