Abstract
Pomen laserskega rezanja v industriji predstavlja hitro in kvalitetno doseganje želenih oblik. Omogoča obdelavo različnih materialov, debelin in zahtevnih oblik. Diplomska naloga se osredotoča na optimizacijo parametrov vlakenskega laserja pri razrezu nerjavečega jekla debelin od 1,5 mm do 4 mm. Pri optimiziranju tehnoloških parametrov s stališča ekonomičnosti in kakovosti reza se je izkazalo, da so ključni parametri rezalna hitrost in položaj fokusa laserskega žarka. Kakovost rezanja smo preverjali vizualno, glede na obarvanost površine, obliko rezalnih sledi in prisotnost srha, na rezalnih površinah pa smo izmerili tudi hrapavost. Ugotavljali smo tudi optimalne pogoje za začetek in konec reza ter izdelavo vogalov. Na vzorčnem izdelku smo določili tudi stroške izdelave in ocenili potencialne letne prihranke zaradi optimiziranja procesa rezanja. Ugotovili smo, da z optimizacijo parametrov dosežemo višje hitrosti rezanja in hkrati tudi boljšo hrapavost reza. Primerjali smo razrez pritrdilnih nosilcev debeline 4 mm na vlakenskem in CO2 laserju, ter prihranili čas izdelave 1250 kosov za 17,9 %.

Title:Determination of optimal parameters and acceptance criteria for laser cutting of stainless steel
Abstract:
The importance of laser cutting in the industry lies in obtaining the desired shapes quickly and with high-quality. It enables the processing of various materials, thicknesses, and complex shapes. The diploma thesis is focused on the optimization of fiber laser parameters for cutting stainless steel with thicknesses from 1,5 mm to 4 mm. When optimizing the technological parameters from the view of economy and quality of cut, the cutting speed and the position of the laser beam focus turned out to be the key parameters. The cutting quality was checked visually according to the surface coloration, the shape of the cutting marks and the presence of burrs, as well as the roughness of the cutting surfaces. The optimal conditions for the beginning and ending of the cutting, as well as the production of corners, were also determined. Furthermore, the production costs were determined on a sample product and the potential annual savings due to the optimization of the cutting process were estimated. We found that optimizing the parameters increases cutting speeds and improves cutting roughness. We compared the cutting of fastening brackets with a thickness of 4 mm using a fiber laser and a CO2 laser and achieved a time savings of 17,9 % in the production of 1250 pieces.
