Abstract
Z magistrsko nalogo preučim in utemeljim pomen investicij v izobraževanje zaposlenih z vidika motivacije in spodbujanja delovne uspešnosti zaposlenih.

Title:Investments in employee education as a motivational factor for employee job performance: a case study : magistrsko delo
Abstract:
We live in a time when knowledge has become one of the most important values. Knowladge is the main and most important factor, influencing the performance of organizations, and it needs to be given more and more attention. It has become quite accessible, training opportunities are abundant and it is even considered a competitive advantage in the business world. In my master's thesis, I examine and justify the importance of investing in employee training in terms of motivating and promoting employee performance. Key words such as work performance, organizational learning, education and training of employees, workplace motivation and business performance are defined throught theory. Using the example of a selected company, the empirical part shows, among other things, the relationship between investments in training and job performance. I have focused on training, because I believe, that investments have a significant impact on motivation and thus on increasing the work performance of employees. The empirical part analyses the investment in training within the company, the interview with the HR specialist and the results of the employee survey. The data are therefore drawn from different sources and provide a broad insight into the importance of training within the selected company. While my presumption that investment in training is a motivating factor, is valid among employees, the numerical results of the company's performance did not confirm these correlations.
