Abstract
Namen magistrskega dela z naslovom Taktilnost tkanine z zankasto površino, je v prvi vrsti raziskati pomen dotika in njegovo mesto v svetu umetnosti. Z združevanjem vsega naštetega so nastale tri unikatne ročno izdelane tkanine, ki poleg vizualno privlačne podobe vabijo, dopuščajo in spodbujajo dotik.

Title:Tactility of fabric with loop-weaved surface
Abstract:
The purpose of the Master's work, entitled Tactility of a fabric with a looped weaved surface, is primarily to investigate the meaning of touch and its place in the world of art. The thesis, which is explored in the first part of the master's work, is that all art is in some way untouchable and thus never really leaves the viewer close, if he cannot experience it with all his senses. This is also the case in textile art, but because textiles are such a strong element in our daily lives, it is practically impossible to avoid touching them. One of the relief surface structures of textiles can be produced using the technique of weaving a looped surface. This is an ancient traditional Sardinian craft called the "pibiones" technique, which is rarely preserved. In his master's thesis, he presents the central technique that was used to produce the final woven pieces. In the second part of the master's work, the entire process of designing and manufacturing woven pieces is shown, which included many smaller test pieces, pattern design and the selection of fibers for weaving. Fibers were selected based on natural origin or recycled material. By combining all of the above, three woven pieces were created that, in addition to a visually attractive image, invite, allow and encourage touch.

Keywords:touch, surface tactility, hand weaving, natural fibers, traditional Sardinian weaving technique "pibiones"
