Abstract
Magistrsko delo opisuje načrtovanje in razvoj sistema za priporočanje plovnih ciljev v pomorski navigaciji, ki omogoča uporabnikom odkrivanje novih področij, zalivov in pristanišč na morju. Namenjena je vsem lastnikom plovil in ljudem, ki najamejo plovilo ob morju in ne poznajo območja, kjer se trenutno nahajajo. Aplikacija uporabnikom posreduje informacije o priljubljenih bližnjih ciljih. Vsak predlagani cilj vsebuje informacijo o hitrosti vetra, trenutno zasedenostjo in optimalno potjo plovbe med začetkom in predlaganim ciljem. Razvita aplikacija temelji na uporabi lastne in tuje podatkovne zbirke o preteklih poteh plovil, ki služijo kot osnova za obdelavo in aplikacijo algoritmov strojnega učenja. S tem smo ustvarili sistem, ki uporabnikom predlaga končne cilje glede na njihovo trenutno lokacijo, preko zasnovane progresivne spletne aplikacije na mobilnem telefonu. Izdelava aplikacije se v grobem deli na dva dela. Zaledje je izvedeno v ogrodju Django, ki skrbi preračunavanje vseh potrebnih podatkov, ki se nato posredujejo na vizualni del. Vizualni del je izveden v obliki progresivne spletne aplikacije (PWA), v ogrodju Vue 3. Ta skrbi za prikaz podatkov o predlaganih ciljih glede na uporabnikovo trenutno lokacijo. Glavna uporabljena programska jezika za izvedeno aplikacije sta Python in JavaScript.

Title:Design and Development of a Sailing Destination Recommender System for Maritime Navigation
Abstract:
The master's thesis describes the design and development of a sailing destination recommender system for maritime navigation, which allows users to discover new areas, bays, and ports at sea. It is intended for all boat owners and people who rent boats at sea and are unfamiliar with the area they are currently in. The application provides users with information on popular nearby destinations. Each recommended destination contains information on wind speed, current occupancy, and optimal sailing route between the starting point and the proposed destination. The developed application is based on the use of its own and foreign databases of past vessel routes, which serve as the basis for processing and applying machine learning algorithms. This has created a system that recommends final destinations to users based on their current location, through a designed progressive web application on their mobile phone. The development of the application is roughly divided into two parts. The backend is implemented in the Django framework, which handles the calculation of all necessary data, which is then passed on to the visual part. The visual part is implemented in the form of a progressive web application (PWA), in the Vue 3 framework. This takes care of displaying data on recommended destinations based on the user's current location. The main programming languages used for the application are Python and JavaScript.
