Abstract
V kontekstu mejhnega sredozemskega mesta, podrejenega zahtevam turističnega in trgovskega načrtovanja, projekt predlaga novi center, ki poenoti program mestne tržnice v ohlapnem okviru pod novom »mestnom strehom«.

Title:
Center of Glocal Participation
Abstract:
The "Center for Glocal Cooperation" tries to answer the questions of globally growing problems in the production and consumption of food, namely its hyperproduction, high energy consumption in storage and production, and especially desensitized consumption that does not take into account food quality, seasonality or the environment of the local habitat. In the context of a small Mediterranean town, subject to the requirements of tourist and commercial planning, the project proposes a new center that unifies the program of the city market in a loose framework under a new "city roof". The project is based on the idea that society shapes space, and the built space directs social events within the conditions set by the space. Therefore, the project was designed on the basis of a defined architectural shell, which enables conditions of spatial and visual quality and enables the collection, assembly and display of programs in various dimensions and forms, while at the same time leaving the space and its design to the will of society. The center combines the concepts of local production, provides farmers with a center for food exchange and consumer education about quality local products, and at the same time requires the active cooperation of both the city administration and the individual contribution of producers and consumers in preserving the local identity of products.
