Abstract
Cilj diplomske naloge je bil razviti spletno aplikacijo, ki uporabnikom omogoča sledenju svojega napredka v fitnesu. Glavni poudarek je bil na preprosti uporabi apliacije in preglednosti zbranih podatkov. Aplikacija je zgrajena po arhitekturnem vzorcu MVC in uporablja Express.js ter strežnik Node.js. Za podatkovna bazo je uporabljena MongoDB in Mongoose za lažjo komunikacijo med podatkovno bazo in aplikacijo, za bolj dinamičen izgled aplikacije pa je bila uporabljena JavaScript knjižnjica Handlebars. Diplomska naloga predstavi tehnologije in orodja, ki so bila uporabljena pri implementaciji, opiše postopek analize in načrtovanja, predstavi izgled in uporabo aplikacije in na koncu poda sklepne ugotovitve.

Title:Web application to help track fitness progress
Abstract:
The goal of the thesis was to develop a web application that allows users to track their progress in fitness. The main emphasis was on the simple use of the application and the clarity of the collected data. The application is built according to the MVC architectural pattern and uses Express.js and the Node.js server. MongoDB and Mongoose were used for the data base, and for a more dynamic look of the application, the Handlebars JavaScript library was used. The thesis presents the technologies and tools used in the implementation, describes the process of analysis and planning, presents the appearance and use of the application, and finally presents the conclusions.
