Abstract
V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela z naslovom Uporaba naravnih materialov pri likovnosti po mnenju in izkušnjah vzgojiteljev sem predstavila likovno izražanje otrok v predšolskem obdobju, v katerem sem zajela poglavja o likovnih dejavnostih, značilnosti otrokovega mišljenja, razvoj in stopnje likovnega izražanja otrok, načela likovne umetnosti, med katerimi je glavno načelo ustvarjalnosti, likovna področja likovnosti ter načrtovanje likovnih dejavnosti in vlogo vzgojitelja. Predstavila sem tudi naravo, zavedanje, spoštovanje in doživljanje narave ter njene naravne materiale in njihovo uporabo pri likovnosti, krajinski umetnosti in gozdni pedagogiki. V empiričnem delu sem s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika raziskala, mnenja in izkušnje vzgojiteljev po vsej Sloveniji o pomembnosti in uporabi naravnih materialov na vseh področjih, še posebno na likovnem ter poznavanje in uporabo naravnih materialov. Ugotovila sem, da imajo vzgojitelji večinoma pozitivna mnenja in izkušnje z naravnimi materiali. Uporaba naravnih materialov v vrtcu se jim zdi pomembna in jih pri svojem delu pogosto uporabljajo na vseh področjih, tudi pri likovnosti.

Title:Using Natural Materials in Art, according to Preschool Teachers' Opinions and Experiences
Abstract:
In my thesis entitled Using natural materials in art, according to preschool teachers' opinions and experiences I presented the theoretical part of the children's artistic expression in the pre-school period, which included chapters on art activities, the characteristics of children's thinking, the development and stages of the children's artistic expression, the principles of art, among which the main one is the principle of creativity, the artistic areas of art and the planning of art activities and the role of the kindergarten teacher. I also presented nature, awareness, appreciation and experiencing of nature, its natural materials and their use in art and forest pedagogy. In the empirical part, I used a questionnaire to investigate the opinions and experiences of kindergarten teachers across Slovenia on the importance and the use of natural materials in all areas, especially in art, and the knowledge and use of natural materials in landscape art. I have found out that preschool teachers mostly have positive opinions and experiences with natural materials. They find the use of natural materials in kindergarten important and they often use them in all areas of their work, including art.
