Abstract
Orodje H5P ima velik potencial za uporabo v izobraževalne namene. Z njim lahko brez programerskega predznanja ustvarimo različna interaktivna gradiva, ki od učencev zahtevajo aktivno sodelovanje in jim nudijo takojšno povratno informacijo. To pa je ključno pri oblikovanju pravilnih predstav. Številne raziskave so pokazale, da imajo učenci pogosto napačne predstave o zahtevnih bioloških vsebinah, kot je na primer naravno izbiranje. V magistrski nalogi smo preverili, ali lahko z uporabo interaktivnega gradiva, pripravljenega z orodjem H5P, dosežemo večje zanimanje za učenje evolucije in naravnega izbiranja ter boljše razumevanje naravnega izbiranja kot izključno s frontalnim načinom poučevanja. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 95 učencev devetega razreda osnovne šole. Zanimanje za učenje vsebin evolucije z naravnim izbiranjem smo preverili z metodo anketiranja, znanje o naravnem izbiranju pa z metodo testiranja znanja. Analiza podatkov je pokazala, da imajo učenci, ki so sodelovali pri izvedbi pouka z uporabo H5P interaktivnih gradiv večje zanimanje za učenje vsebin o naravnem izbiranju in enako razumevanje naravnega izbiranja kot učenci, ki so sodelovali pri tradicionalni izvedbi pouka. Na podlagi rezultatov zato ocenjujemo, da lahko z orodjem H5P ustvarimo najmanj enakovredno učno uro tradicionalnem frontalnem poučevanju. H5P aktivnosti lahko uporabimo za popestritev pouka, hkrati pa pri učencih razvijamo digitalne kompetence, ki jih bodo potrebovali v prihodnosti.

Title:H5P as a tool for creating interactive content for lower secondary school biology lessons
Abstract:
The H5P tool has a great potential for educational use. Without prior programming knowledge, H5P tool enables authors to create various interactive materials that require students' active participation and provide them with immediate feedback. This is necessary when new knowledge is formed. Numerous studies have shown that students often have misconceptions about complex biological topics, such as natural selection. The aim of this master’s thesis was to investigate, whether using interactive material, prepared with the H5P tool, can lead to a greater interest and a better understanding of evolution and natural selection, as opposed to traditional face-to-face teaching. Ninth grade (N = 95) primary school students have participated in a survey about the interest in learning about evolution and natural selection, and have taken a knowledge test about natural selection. The data analysis revealed that students, who had participated in lessons using H5P interactive materials, had a greater interest in learning about natural selection and acquired the same level of knowledge about the topic, compared to students, who participated in traditional face-to-face lessons. Based on the results, we conclude that lessons prepared with H5P tool represent at least an equal alternative to traditional face-to-face lessons. H5P activities can be used to enrich lessons, while students are developing digital competences, which will be much needed in future.
