Abstract
Magistrsko delo z naslovom Teorija barv v filozofiji in njihova vloga v likovnem snovanju se ukvarja s pojmom barva in različnimi pristopi oziroma koncepti uporabe barv.

Title:Theory of Colors in Philosophy and Their Role in Fine Art Design
Abstract:
The master's thesis entitled Theory of Colors in Philosophy and Their Role in Fine Art Design deals with the concept of color and various approaches or concepts of the use of colors. It explores the nature of colors, their composition, all the way to the impact of colors on our daily lives and their tangible and intangible properties in our world. With the question of what color is, it compares the claims, rules and laws of known or visible, as well as invisible colors, with individual theses based on aspects of certain areas of our perception and existence in the world. In doing so, it takes into account established concepts about colors and their use. The thesis is based on individual works, claims and laws set by selected authors, both historical and current in various fields of natural and social sciences. In my thesis I find that colors and our perception of colors are in fact an inseparable part of our lives, so they are inextricably linked to our existence, the way we perceive the world, give a symbolism of life itself, ourselves as socially sensitive beings and our life values.

Keywords:color, the concept of color, color concepts, philosophy, art and science.
