Hranilnik toplote na osnovi materiala s trdninsko fazno transformacijo

V magistrskem delu je predstavljena analiza hranilnika toplote z uporabo materialov s trdninsko fazno preobrazbo (zlitin z oblikovnim spominom). Izvedla se je eksperimentalna analiza delovanja hranilnika toplote pri različnih obratovalnih pogojih. Na podlagi eksperimentalnih rezultatov je bil validiran 1D numerični model na osnovi metode končnih razlik, s katerim je bila nato izvedena optimizacija obratovalnih pogojev pri različnih deležih polnitve hranilnika toplote. Pri tem smo analizirali potek izstopne temperature vode, shranjeno toploto ter maksimalno toplotno moč hranilnika toplote. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da uporaba materialov s trdninsko fazno preobrazbo poveča gostoto shranjene energije za 15 % v primerjavi s senzibilnim vodnim hranilnikom toplote in omogoča visoke toplotne moči.

• Title: Heat storage using materials with solid state transformation

Abstract

In this thesis, an analysis of heat storage using solid phase transformation materials (shape memory alloys) is presented. An experimental analysis of the heat storage system under different operating conditions was carried out. Based on the experimental results, a 1D numerical model based on the finite difference method was validated, which was then used to optimize the operating conditions at different heat storage fill ratios. The water outlet temperature, the stored heat, and the maximum heat output of the heat storage were analyzed. The use of materials with solid-state phase transformation has been found to increase stored energy density by 15 % compared to water sensible heat storage and produce high heat power.
