This thesis is discussing the operation of the deburring machine and the effects of changes in individual parameters on the final product (relay). Relay construction and operation are presented. Target products in which the relay is used and the manufacturing process of the relay are described in order to give a more profound insight to the role of the deburring device and its effects. Measurements were performed on a testing device that is regularly used for checking relays and a laboratory device that also allows adjusting of the relays. Standard deviations and interdependencies of the relay characteristics were derived from acquired data.
From the conclusions, we can summarize that the individual parameter changes, the effects of which were tested, do not lead to an improvement of the final product and it is assumed that optimization would require a combined change of the input parameters of the deburring machine.
