Female dual forms are a peculiarity of Slovene language, which is often neglected among native speakers as well as in the linguistics. This thesis reviews the theoretical basis of feminine duality forms, evaluates them and places them in the historical and social context. We performed an empirical study among 131 users of the Slovene language. Test subjects were requested to take an exam that was designed to evaluate their knowledge of feminine dual forms for nouns, adjectives and verbs. The results confirm our hypotheses regarding the most common grammatical errors in feminine dual forms.
