Intergenerational cooperation is certainly a way of adding value to an increasingly broad demographic spectrum of the population through various projects and initiatives. The thesis aims to determine the Grosuplje citizens’ perspective on intergenerational activities in the city; whether they find intergenerational events interesting and whether they participate in them. Part of the research was also to find out their general knowledge of the concepts in the field of intergenerational cooperation and networking. The citizens’ views included in the survey were obtained using a questionnaire filled in by individuals of all age groups. The findings showed that intergenerational support and activities in this field are still rather poorly implemented among the inhabitants of Grosuplje. On the upside, it was found that people are interested in activities, but that they, unfortunately, do not have enough time to participate in them. The usefulness of the study is reflected in the need to increase awareness-raising in the area of intergenerational networking and support. The results of the analysis show that there is still a need to invest more in people's knowledge of intergenerational networking and to bring activities closer to the middle-aged generation, which is struggling with a lack of time. Intergenerational support can have a significant impact on the overall development of society and the effective transfer of knowledge between generations.
