Abstract
V tem delu je predstavljen potek načrtovanja in izdelave merilnega sistema za nadzor in spremljanje obrabe orodij na procesu struženja. Naloga v prvem delu zajema pregled teoretičnega ozadja obrabe orodij. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili teoretično ozadje pojava povečanja rezalne moči zaradi obrabe orodja. V eksperimentalnem delu smo dokazali, da obstaja povezava med obrabo orodja in povečanjem rezalne moči. Na podlagi poznane stopnje obrabe orodja in povezavi med porabljeno električno močjo na stroju, smo zasnovali programski vmesnik, s katerim lahko v realnem času spremljamo obrabo rezalnega orodja. Za namen analize podatkov smo uporabili mikrokrmilnik Arduino, nanj pa povezali LCD zaslon na dotik. V nalogi je predstavljeno snovanje programske kode v okolju Arduino, kakor tudi vezava vseh potrebnih elektronskih komponent za izdelavo zasnovanega sistema.

Title:
Development of system for monitoring of loads and tool-wear of cutting tools
Abstract:
This work presents the process of planning and manufacturing a measuring system for controlling and monitoring the tool wear in the turning process. The first part includes an overview of the theoretical background of tool wear. In the next part, we presented the theoretical background of the phenomenon of increased cutting power due to tool wear. In the experimental work, we proved that there is a connection between tool wear and an increase in cutting power. Based on the known rate of tool wear and the connection between the consumed electric power on the machine, we designed a software interface that can be used to monitor the tool wear in real time. For the purpose of data analysis, we used an Arduino microcontroller, and connected it with an LCD touch screen. The work presents the creation of the program code in the Arduino environment, as well as the connection of all the necessary electronic components for the creation of the designed system.
