Abstract
Glavna naloga diplomskega dela je spoznati uporabo, izdelavo in sestavne elemente visokonapetostnega kondenzatorja za kompenzacijo jalove moči. V podjetju, kjer spoznavam delo v razvoju visokonapetostnih kondenzatorjev, se je pojavil projekt, v okviru katerega obstoječemu produktu nadgradimo stopnjo izolacije. V omrežjih se pojavljajo prenapetosti, ki povzročajo obremenitve na izolaciji in lahko ogrozijo normalno delovanje kondenzatorja, zato je pomembno, da pri razvoju pazimo na izbiro izolacije in jo ustrezno testiramo. Delo je razdeljeno na dva dela. V prvem delu so predstavljena teoretična dejstva, ki sem jih spoznala že v času študija, nekatera pa so mi bila predstavljena med pridobivanjem izkušenj v podjetju. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljen kondenzator in njegova funkcija v sistemu, kompenzacija jalove moči, izdelava visokonapetostnega kondenzatorja in izolacija. S četrtim poglavjem se začne drugi del, ki je praktične narave. V njem je opisano, kako izračunamo dimenzije visokonapetostnega kondenzatorja. V nadaljevanju so predstavljeni potrebni testi, ki jih mora kondenzator opraviti preden, ga lahko odpremimo h kupcu. V zaključku so zbrani rezultati testiranj, trendi uporabe visokonapetostnih kondenzatorjev in novi cilji, ki so se pojavili ob uspešno razvitem novem tipu kondenzatorja.

Title:Development of a 70/170 kV high-voltage capacitor for reactive power compensation
Abstract:
The main task of the thesis is to learn bout the application, design and components of a high voltage reactive power compensation capacitor. In a company where I am learning about working in the development department of high-voltage capacitors, a project has come up where we upgrade the insulation level of an existing product. Overvoltages occur in networks and cause stresses on the insulation, which can compromise the normal operation of the capacitor, so it is important to take care in the choice of insulation and to test it properly. The work is divided in two parts. The first part presents the theoretical facts that I have already learnt during my time of studying, other were introduced to me during my experience in the company. The theoretical part introduces the capacitor and its function in the system, reactive power compensation, the construction of a high-voltage capacitor and insulation. Chapter 4 starts the second part, which is practical in nature. It describes how to calculate the dimensions of a high-voltage capacitor. The following are the necessary tests that a capacitor must pass before it can be shipped to the customer. This conclusion summarises the results of the tests, the trends in the use of high voltage capacitors and the new objectives that have emerged from the successful development of a new type of capacitor.
