Abstract
Ljudske pravljice predstavljajo bogat vir informacij o kulturi nekega naroda, njegovih običajih in jeziku, ukvarjanje z njimi pa na različne načine spodbuja razvoj otrok in mladostnikov tako na jezikovnem kot na čustvenem in spoznavnem področju. Magistrsko delo se ukvarja z analizo slovenskih in ruskih ljudskih pravljic, zgodovine njihovega proučevanja ter možnosti za njihovo uporabo v okviru pouka slovenščine in ruščine kot tujih jezikov. Razlogi za uporabo ljudskih pravljic pri pouku tujega jezika izhajajo iz teorije poučevanja tujih jezikov, večji poudarek pa je namenjen poučevanju tujih jezikov učencev v osnovnih in srednjih šolah. Prisotnost in uporaba umetnostnih besedil in ljudskih pravljic pri pouku slovenščine in ruščine kot tujih jezikov sta bili preverjeni s pomočjo majhnega namenskega vzorca med učitelji slovenščine in ruščine kot tujih jezikov, pa tudi s pregledom in analizo učbenikov in delovnih zvezkov, ki se v slovenskem prostoru uporabljajo za učenje slovenščine in ruščine kot tujih jezikov. Učitelji slovenščine in ruščine kot tujih jezikov v pouk vključujejo umetnostna besedila, med katerimi se najpogosteje pojavljajo pesmi in krajša prozna besedila, občasno tudi slovenske in ruske ljudske pravljice. Njihovo prednost v okviru pouka tujega jezika učitelji vidijo predvsem v tem, da učencem približajo kulturo in zgodovino naroda ter jih soočajo s kulturno drugačnostjo. Slovenske in ruske ljudske pravljice imajo veliko jezikovnih in besedilnih značilnosti, ki so lahko učencem v oporo pri učenju slovenščine in ruščine kot tujih jezikov, vendar pa je njihov potencial zlasti v učbeniških gradivih še precej neizkoriščen.

Title:Application of Slovene and Russian Folk Tales in Teaching Slovenian and Russian as foreign languages
Abstract:
Folk tales represent a rich source of information about the culture of a nation, its customs and language, while dealing with them in various ways promotes the development of children and young adults linguistically, emotionally, and cognitively. The thesis covers the analysis of Slovenian and Russian folk tales, the history of the study of folk tales, and the possibilities of using them in teaching Slovenian and Russian as foreign languages. The reasons for using folk tales in foreign language classrooms come from the theory of foreign language teaching, but the greatest emphasis is placed on teaching foreign languages to students in primary and secondary schools. The presence and use of literary texts and folk tales in teaching Slovenian and Russian as foreign languages were verified with a small-dedicated sample carried out among teachers of Slovenian and Russian as foreign languages, as well as by reviewing and analysing the textbooks and workbooks used for teaching Slovenian and Russian as foreign languages in Slovenia. Teachers of Slovenian and Russian as foreign languages include literary texts in their lessons; most frequently poems and short prose texts, occasionally also Slovenian and Russian folk tales. Foreign language teachers see the advantage mainly in bringing students closer to the culture and history of the nation and confronting them with cultural differences. Slovenian and Russian folk tales have many linguistic and textual peculiarities that can support students in learning Slovenian and Russian as foreign languages, but their potential, especially in textbook materials, is still largely untapped.
