Rimski kamniti spomeniki v zahodnem delu Slovenije

V magistrski nalogi so zbrani doslej odkriti kamniti rimski izdelki iz območja zahodne Slovenije (Regio X). Glede na formalne značilnosti je bilo dokumentiranih 9 tipov kamnin (nabrežinski apnenec, podpeški apnenec, volčanski apnenec, rovinjski apnenec, flišni peščenjak, marmor, predornia, fonolitna lava, alabaster). Kronološko sodijo v čas od 1. stol. pr. n. št. do 5. stol. n. št..

• Title: Roman stone monuments in the western part of Slovenia

Abstract

In the thesis, there are collected so far discovered roman stone products on the west part of Slovenia. According to their formal characteristics, 9 types of rocks were documented (Aurisina limestone, lithiotid limestone, Volče limestone, “Istrian yellow”, Flysch sandstone, marble, igneous rock, phonolite lava, alabaster. Chronologically, they belong in the period from the first century BCE until the fifth century AD.
