Introduction: Due to good accessibility and attractiveness, more and more people opt for trampoline workouts. Most see it as a fun and pleasant type of physical activity, which appeals mostly to children and young people. The trampoline can be a great exercise aid, as it has many health benefits. Occupation is the main concept of occupational therapy and is strongly related to an individual's identity, gives a sense of competence, and plays an important role in mental health and motivation. Participating in occupations is central to health and well-being, as well as helps people discover their meaning. Purpose: The purpose of the diploma thesis is to research the activity of jumping on a trampoline from the point of view of the performer of the activity, which will contribute to the understanding of the performer's perspective. We were interested in why the interviewees decided on the activity, what is the effect in the physical, mental and social spheres, as well as what supports or hinders them. Methods: We used a qualitative research approach. Data was collected using semi-structured interviews. We carried them out with three people who regularly jump on a trampoline. Results: For the participants in the research, jumping on a trampoline is an important occupation with many positive effects on their psychophysical health. While jumping, they experience pleasant sensations, and a state of flow also appears. It helps to improve their physical abilities, which is also reflected in the performance of daily activities. Jumping helps them to relax and divert away from their worries and thus has a positive effect on their well-being, allowing them to expand their social network. The supports that encourage their involvement in jumping are family, friends, community, and a properly equipped gym. Injuries were pointed out as the biggest obstacle, along with various other obligations. Discussion and conclusion: Jumping on a trampoline has a concrete, symbolic and self-rewarding value for the people involved in the research and represents an occupation that has great meaning and a strong influence on their lives. While jumping, they are overwhelmed by specific, mostly positive feelings. Due to the unique exercise and positive effects, trampoline jumping can have many health benefits. The activity has occupational and therapeutic potential and is suitable for people of different ages and populations.
