Uporaba materialov z visoko entropijo v baterijah

Abstract
V diplomskem delu bom predstavila materiale z visoko entropijo, kjer se bom posvetila predvsem uporabi teh materialov za shranjevanje energije. Mednje uvrščamo tudi zlitine z visoko entropijo, keramiko z visoko entropijo, kamor sodijo tudi oksidi z visoko entropijo. Omenjeni materiali izkazujejo velik potencial pri aplikacijah za elektro in fotokatalizo, shranjevanje vodika in energije, magnetne in dielektrične komponente. Materiali z visoko entropijo je stabilen kristaliničen material, sestavljen iz vsaj petih različnih kovinskih elementov, kjer ima lahko vsak ločen sistem svojo kristalno strukturo. Za uporabo v baterijah so primerni, ker imajo visoko elektronsko in ionsko prevodnost, visoko zmogljivost, dobre magnetne, dielektrične lastnosti ... Oksidi z visoko entropijo se lahko uporabljajo kot elektrodni material v litij-ionskih baterijah, natrij-ionskih baterijah in tudi v litiji-žveplovih baterijah. Elektrode v tovrstnih baterijah vsebujejo elemente, kot so Mg, Co, Cu, Ni, Zn, O, Fe ... kar poveča njihovo stabilnost ter izboljša kapacitivnost in število ciklov. Pri pripravi diplomskega dela se bom osredotočila na materiale, uporabne pri shranjevanju električne energije – baterijah. Delo bo usmerjeno predvsem v predstavitev in pregled aktualnih materialov na tem področju. Študirala bom vpliv različnih sinteznih poti in priprav na končne lastnosti materialov in posledično na ciljne karakteristike baterij.

Title:High entropy materials in battery applications
Abstract:
In diploma I will present high-entropy materials, where I will focus on the use of these materials for energy storage. High-entropy materials include high-entropy alloys, high-entropy ceramics, which include high-entropy oxides. These materials show great potential in applications for electrical and photocatalysis, hydrogen and energy storage, magnetic and dielectric components. High-entropy materials is stable crystalline material consisting at least five different metal elements, where each separate system can have its own crystal structure. They are suitable for use in batteries because they have high electronic and ionic conductivity, high capacity, good magnetic and dielectric properties ... High-entropy oxides can be used as an electrode material in lithium-sulfur batteries. Electrodes in such batteries contain elements such as Mg, Co, Cu, Ni, Zn, O, Fe ... which increases their stability and impoves the capacitance and number of cycles. In preparing my diploma, I will focus on materials useful in storing electricity – batteries. Diploma will be focused mainly on the presentation and review of current materials in the field. I will study the influence of different synthetic pathways and preparations on the final properties of materials and target characteristics of batteries.
