Abstract
V tej diplomski nalogi pokažemo prednosti perforacije zank na mobilnih napravah. Podrobno predstavimo perforacijo in jo implementiramo na sistemu Android v domeni VR/AR z algoritmom vzorčenja najbolj oddaljene točke na oblaku točk. Na koncu predstavimo rezultate, primerjamo učinkovitost algoritma z in brez perforacije ter prednosti in slabosti uporabe perforacije zank na mobilnih napravah.

Title:Analysing the use of loop perforation for speeding up 3D cloud point sampling on a mobile device
Abstract:
In this thesis we show the benefits of loop perforation on mobile devices. We first present perforation in detail in context of AR/VR on Android mobile operating system. Our app uses loop perforation to simplify point clouds with furthest point sampling algorithm. Finally, we present results, compare the performance of the algorithm with and without perforation and detail advantages and disadvantages of using loop perforation on mobiles.
