Abstract
V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen projekt avtomatizacije kontinuiranega procesa izdelave lepila. Glavni poudarek dela je na programskem delu projekta, ki je bil izveden s pomočjo programske opreme Studio 5000 Logix Designer, proizvajalca Rockwell Automation, ki je uporabljena za programiranje PLK-ja. Uvodni del naloge na kratko opiše glavne dele standarda ISA-88.01 in osnovne lastnosti programskega okolja Studia 5000 in Factorytalk. V tem delu je na kratko opisan tudi kontinuiran proces izdelave lepila in samo delovanje procesa. V sklopu tega so opisane tudi posamične enote in gradniki celotnega sistema. Drugi del diplomske naloge prikazuje postopek izdelave projekta, torej od začetnega načrta do delujočega programa v PLK-ju oz. delo, ki se sklicuje na Studio 5000. Predstavljeno je popisovanje elementov iz P&ID slike, implementacija elementov v orodju Logix Designer, definiranje sistemskih in operacijskih alarmov ter sestavljanje operacij in faz. Na koncu je opisan še princip testiranja programske kode, tako da se ujema s FS dokumentom.

Title:Automation of the continuous glue manufacturing process
Abstract:
The thesis presents the project of automation of the Continuous process of glue production. The main focus of the work is on the programming part of the project, which was carried out with the help of Studio 5000 Logix Designer software, manufactured by Rockwell Automation, which is used to program the PLC. The introductory part of the assignment briefly describes the main parts of the ISA-88.01 standard and the basic features of the Studio 5000 and Factorytalk programming environments. This part also describes Continuous process and functioning of the process. At the end of this part describes individual units and building blocks of the entire system. The second part of the thesis shows the process of making the project, i.e., from the initial plan to the working program in PLC or in other words, the work referring to Studio 5000 environment. This part also describes listing of elements from P&ID scheme, implementation of elements in Logix Designer, definition of system and operation alarms and composition of operations and phases. At the end of this part, the principle of testing the software code is described so that it matches the FS document.
