Abstract
Za dokumentaristiko je značilno, da ne more biti objektivna, saj v nastajanje zgodbe posega njen ustvarjalec in se pri tem odloča, katere dele in na kakšen način jih bo predstavil. Ustvarjalci se ob svojem delu poslužujejo kinematografskih in stilističnih elementov, kadriranja in montaže. Kljub temu da so elementi ključni za nastanek filma, nudijo ustvarjalcu možnost manipulacije materialov in s tem ustvarjanje edinstvenega pomena zgodbi. Pa vendar je želja ustvarjalcev dokumentarnih filmov reprezentirati realnost in jo ljudem približati na kar se da avtentičen način. Diplomsko delo obravnava koncept avtentičnosti v sklopu dokumentarnega filma. V diplomski nalogi si tako želim izpostaviti strategije znotraj filmske naracije, ki avtentičnost utrjujejo in so ključne za vzpostavitev koncepta avtentičnosti. Kateri elementi so torej pomembni, da ustvarjalci z njimi utrjujejo avtentičnost in hkrati predstavijo problem oziroma zgodbo problema, ki ga dokumentarec razkriva? Pristop, ki mi bo omogočil raziskovanje koncepta avtentičnosti, je analiza stilističnih elementov.

Title:Authenticity in the documentary film The Social Dilemma
Abstract:
Documentary filmmaking is characterized by the fact that it cannot be objective because the filmmaker intervenes in making the story and decides which parts to present and how to present them. The filmmakers work with cinematographic and stylistic elements, framing, and editing. Although the elements are crucial to the making of the film, they allow the filmmaker to manipulate the materials and thus create a unique meaning for the story. Nevertheless, documentary filmmakers desire to represent reality and to bring it to people in the most authentic way possible. The thesis deals with the concept of authenticity in the context of documentary films. In this thesis, I would like to highlight the strategies within film narratives that reinforce authenticity and are crucial for establishing the concept of authenticity. Which elements are essential for the filmmakers to use to support authenticity and, at the same time, present the problem or the story of the problem that the documentary reveals? The approach that will allow me to explore the concept of authenticity is the analysis of stylistic elements.
