Abstract
Flare je nova bločna veriga, zgrajena z namenom univerzalne povezljivosti bločnih verig. V magistrskem delu na kratko predstavimo kriptovalute, bločne verige ter omrežje Ethereum. Podrobneje opišemo Ethereumov navidezni stroj, ki ga uporablja tudi omrežje Flare, katerega opis predstavlja osrednji del magistrskega dela. Del tega omrežja je sistem State Connector, ki je osnova vseh interoperabilnih aplikacij v omrežju. Na njem temeljita tudi najpomembnejši takšni aplikaciji: sistem za F-sredstva ter LayerCake. V nadaljevanju podrobneje predstavimo sistem FTSO (Flare Time Series Oracle). Gre za decentraliziran bločno-verižni protokol, ki zbira cenovne in podatkovne signale iz drugih bločnih verig in ostalih podatkovnih virov ter jih posreduje bločni verigi Flare. S tem naslovimo problem varnih in decentraliziranih orakljev, ki lahko nudijo zanesljive podatke ostalim pametnim pogodbam. Na koncu je podrobno predstavljen še sistem demokratičnega upravljanja omrežja, s katerim omogočimo skupnosti v omrežju oziroma imetnikom kovancev FLR odločanje pri soupravljanju omrežja.

Title:The Flare Network, FTSO and governance
Abstract:
Flare is a new blockchain built for universal connectivity. This master’s thesis briefly presents cryptocurrencies, blockchains, the Ethereum network, and the Ethereum Virtual Machine used in the Flare network. We introduce State Connector, the basis of all interoperability applications built in the Flare network. First such applications are F-Assets and LayerCake. In more detail, we present The Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO), a decentralized on-chain protocol that gathers price (and data) signals of off-chain assets and submits them to the Flare blockchain. With this, we address the problem of secure and decentralized oracles that can provide reliable data for calculation by other smart contracts. Finally, the governance system of the network is presented in detail, with which the network community (FLR owners) is enabled to make decisions in the co-management of the network.
