Abstract
Diplomsko delo se ukvarja s cerkvijo Kristusa Odrešenika v Novi Gorici, ki je delo arhitekta Franceta Kvaternika. V mestu po drugi svetovni vojni iz političnih razlogov ni bilo predvidenega prostora za svetišče, zato so se naročniki med gradnjo srečali z mnogimi težavami. Cerkev je bila zgrajena med leti 1978 in 1982 v skladu s smernicami Drugega vatikanskega koncila in spada v tip centralne sakralne stavbe s tlorisom na osnovi kvadrata.

Title:The Church of Christ the Savior in Nova Gorica and the Sacral Architecture of France Kvaternik
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the Church of Christ the Saviour in Nova Gorica, which is the work of architect France Kvaternik. After the Second World War there was no planned space for the shrine in the city due to political reasons, so the clients encountered many problems during the construction. The church was built between 1978 and 1982 according to the guidelines of the Second Vatican Council and belongs to the central-plan church type with a floor plan based on a square.
