Fotografska interpretacija spominov skozi magični realizem

Diplomska naloga se ukvarja s spomini in procesom pomnjenja kot osnovnim principom delovanja spomina. V praktičnem delu so zbrani nenavadni in nikoli dokumentirani spomini ljudi, ki so nato fotografsko interpretirani. Fotografska serija je razvita v slogu magičnega realizma, preučevanem skozi več umetniških medijev, kot so film, literatura in fotografija. Delo je osredotočeno na inscenirano fotografijo in analizo avtorjev, ki se v svojemu delu ukvarjajo z elementi magičnega realizma. Predstavljena fotografija naj bi dosegla to magično vzdušje, zaradi katerega je določenim spominom v odnosu do drugih pripisan poseben pomen.

• Title: Photographic interpretation of memories through magical realism

Abstract

In my diploma thesis, I am exploring the process of remembering as a basic principle of memory. In the practical part, I collected unusual and never documented memories of people and interpreted them through the medium of photography. I developed the photographic series within the style of magical realism, which I studied through several artistic media such as film, literature, and photography. I focused on staged photography and analyzed authors who deal with elements of magical realism in their work. In my photography, I tried to achieve a magical atmosphere, because of which we attach special significance to certain memories compared to others.
