OBLIKOVANJE PRIPOMOČKA ZA OBOLELE Z MULTIPLO SKLEROZO

Diplomska naloga preučuje problem samostojnega ličenja oseb z multiplo sklerozo. Multipla skleroza je avtoimunska bolezen, ki se največkrat pojavi pri mladih ženskah, njeni najpogostejši telesni simptomi pa so težave z motoriko, mravljinčenje, odrevenelost udov in tresavica, kar močno vpliva na proces ličenja obolelih. Naloga v raziskovalno-analitični fazi raziskuje bolezen, njen potek ter simptome, v poglobljeni raziskovalno-analitični fazi pa prek uporabniških raziskav (vprašalnikov in pogovorov z obolelimi) preiskuje relevantnost problema ličenja pri obolelih, težave, ki se pri tem pojavijo, in morebitne rešitve. Najpomembnejši zaključki poglobljene raziskovalno-analitične faze kažejo, da na trgu ni ličil, ki bi bila prilagojena prav osebam z multiplo sklerozo. Uporabniške raziskave razkrijejo ključne težave, s katerimi se soočajo oboleli z multiplo sklerozo, in sicer: oprijemanje izdelka zaradi odrevenelosti prstov in dlani, natančnost nanosa zaradi tresavice ter odpiranje izdelkov zaradi obeh omenjenih simptomov. V načrtovalski fazi sledi konceptualizacija in skiciranje idej, prototipiranje ter preverjanje rešitev. Končni rezultat diplomske naloge je modularni set za ličenje, ki vsebuje ohišje, v katerega se vstavijo ličila po želji, ter čopiče za ličenje, ki se nataknejo na prst in s tem preprečujejo, da bi izdelek padal iz rok.

• Title: Designing a product for people with multiple sclerosis

Abstract

BA thesis studies the problems of independent application of makeup for people with multiple sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease, which most commonly affects young women, the most common physical symptoms of the disease are problems with motor skills, tingling sensation, numbness of the limbs and tremor, which highly affect the process of putting on makeup. In the research-analytical phase, the thesis researches the disease, its course and symptoms, and in the deepened research-analytical phase it looks into the relevance of the problem of putting on makeup for the ill, problems that occur and potential solutions to these problems with the help of user research such as questionnaires and talks with the ill. Key conclusions of the deepened research-analytical phase show, that on the market there is no product for applying makeup specifically for people with multiple sclerosis. This phase also showed key problems that people with multiple sclerosis face, such as problems with holding the product beacuse of the numbness of the fingers, perciseness of the application because of the tremor and troubles with opening the packaging because of both of the mentioned symptoms. The design phase starts with conceptualization and sketching of ideas, which are then tested in the prototyping phase. The end result of the BA thesis is a modular makeup set which consists of the housing that holds the wanted makeup and makeup brushes, that attach on the finger and in thsi way prevent the product falling from the hand.
