Mesto športa v sodobni pastorali : diplomsko delo

Šport je pravi svetovni fenomen, ker je ustvarjen za človeka in ima veliko moč, da združuje ljudi vseh kultur in družb. Zato v diplomskem delu poskušamo najti povezovalne točke med Cerkvijo in športom, ki bi omogočale aktivno vključitev športa v pastoralo in evangelizacijo. Poskušamo podati celostno podobo športa. Kakšen vzgojni vpliv ima šport, predvsem na mlade. Od negativnih in pozitivnih posledic, ki jih prinaša profesionalni šport, kot tudi sama amaterska igra. Nato podajamo še krščansko vizijo športa. Na kratko, preko dveh bistvenih cerkvenih dokumentov na tem področju, Dati vse od sebe ter Šport in krščansko življenje, povezujemo šport in krščansko življenje v bistvene pastoralne poglede in izzive, ki vključujejo šport. Za konec prikažemo aktualno situacijo športne pastoralne dejavnosti v Katoliški cerkvi v Sloveniji.

• Title: The place of sport in the contemporary pastoral care

Abstract

Sport is a global phenomenon because it is made for human beings and has great power to bring people of all cultures and societies together. The points of connection between the Church and sport that would allow an active involvement of sport in pastoral care and evangelisation are being tried to find in the diploma work. We try to give a holistic picture of sport. What an educational impact sport has, especially on young people. From the negative to positive consequences of professional sport, as well as the amateur game itself. Then we present the Christian vision of sport. We briefly summarise the essential pastoral perspectives and challenges involving sport through two key Church documents in this area, Give your best and Sport and Christian Life. Finally, we present the current situation of sports and pastoral activities in the Catholic Church in Slovenia.
