Existing device for testing pressure drop in cables used to measure ankle pressure does not produce consistent results. In addition, it also has excessive leakage, which makes the cables impossible to test reliably. We used an experimental approach for troubleshooting to discover as many possible solutions as possible. We tested several different systems until we found a system that was reliable and gave good results. Then we tested 3 different systems, from which we gradually removed the components. In this way, we also determined the leakage of individual parts of the system. We found that the biggest problem was in the joints between the silicone tubes and their connectors.
