Abstract
V diplomski nalogi sem s pomočjo strokovne literature o feminizmu in družbenih neenakostih analizirala feministično misel, ki jo Elena Ferrante razvije s prvoosebno pripovedjo protagonistke Elene Greco. Diplomsko delo zaključujem z razmišljanjem o protagonistki Eleni Greco in o tem, kako s pomočjo feministične teorije razbrati literarizirano študijo vsakdanjega življenja, ki jo ponuja Elena Ferrante.

Title:The hopeless cycle of social inequality: feminism in the works of Elena Ferrante
Abstract:
In my diploma thesis, with the help of professional literature on feminism and social inequalities, I analysed the feminist thought that Elena Ferrante develops through the first-person narration of the protagonist Elena Greco. First, I briefly outlined the development of feminist thought from the beginning to the third wave of feminism, presented the literary peculiarities of the author's writing, especially the wording of feelings, and gave a brief reconstruction of the considered works for easier understanding of the analysis of feminist thought. In the conclusion, I dealt with selected areas that most indicate the feminist struggle and are still important today when considering the position of women. I concluded my thesis by thinking about the protagonist Elena Greco and how to understand the literary study of everyday life offered by Elena Ferrante with the help of feminist theory.
