V diplomski nalogi se bomo osredotočili na vprašanje zakonske zveze, ki je predstavljena med Izraelom in Bogom v 16. poglavju knjige preroka Ezekiela. Tako kot v modernih časih je tudi tukaj predstavljen problem nezvestobe in nezaupanja v zakonskem paru. Če želimo razumeti, zakaj Ezekiel uporablja prispodobo zakonskega para za obrazložitev problemov, ki so nastali med Izraelom in Bogom, moramo sprva razumeti, kdo sploh je Ezekiel in kakpno poslanstvo mu je zaupal Bog.

Abstract

In this thesis, we will focus on the issue of marriage as it is presented between Israel and God in the 16th chapter of the book of Ezekiel. As in modern times, the main focus will be the problem of infidelity and distrust in the the married couple. To understand why Ezekiel uses the metaphor of a married couple to explain the problems that arose between Israel and God, we must first understand who Ezekiel is and what task God had entrusted to him.
