Abstract
Trdnost zvara in osnovnega materiala sta bili primerljivi.

Title:
A-TIG welding of austenitic stainless steel AISI 316L
Abstract:
Tig welding is getting more and more common in modern production due to the demand for high quality welds in modern products. A-TIG is one variant of TIG welding that utilizes active particles which concentrate arc energy, increase penetration depth and consequently reduce welding time. We conducted automatic A-TIG welding of austenite stainless steel AISI 316L using a butt joint and ran adequate tests required for welding procedure certificate. The test contained preparation and analysis of the macro specimen, tensile test and bending test. The weld's tensile strength was comparable with the tensile strength of the original material. Consequently, while conducting a tensile test, the specimen cracked in the weld, not the material. The weld also passed the bending test. Macroscopic analysis has shown the finished weld to be without error.
