Abstract
Določili smo sprejemljivo korelacijo v vrednosti ro najmanj 0,600. Visoko korelacijo (ro > 0,800) rezultatov obeh metod so imeli energijski vnos in 11 hranil (ogljikovi hidrati, maščobe, beljakovine, voda, kalij, kalcij, fosfor, skupna prehranska vlaknina, vitamin C, folat in stearinska kislina), zmerno (ro = 0,600–0,799) 18 hranil, šibko (ro = 0,400–0,599) 11 hranil, medtem ko za pet hranil ni bilo korelacije med rezultati, pridobljenimi z obema metodama (arahidonska kislina, niacin, alfa-linolenska kislina, fluor, skupni sladkorji). Rezultati ovrednotenja prehranskih dnevnikov s spletno aplikacijo in računalniškim programom so v visoki korelaciji za energijski vnos in vsebnost makrohranil.

Title:Comparison of a web-based dietary assessment tool with software for the evaluation of dietary records
Abstract:
We tried to determine the comparability of two computer programs for the evaluation of dietary records. Dietary assessment in clinical practice is performed by means of computer support, either in the form of a web-based application or software. The aim of our research is to present the results of the comparison of a German software and a Slovenian web-based application for the evaluation of the nutritional intake, based on the method of a four-day weighted paper dietary record (PA-4PD) kept by pregnant women. A volunteer group of pregnant women (n=63) that kept PA-4PD record participated in the study which was carried out in 2011 as part of the project "The Role of Human Milk in Development of Breast Fed Child’s Intestinal Microbiota". The gathered PA-4PD records were inserted into a web-based application Open Platform for Clinical Nutrition and computer software Prodi 5.7 Expert plus. We statistically compared the results for the calculated energy intake, as well as 45 macro- and micronutrients using the non-parametric Spearman's coefficient (rho). We determined the acceptable correlation in rho value of at least 0.600. Energy intake and 11 nutrients (carbohydrates, fats, proteins, water, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, dietary fiber, vitamin C, folate, and stearic acid) were in high correlation (rho>0.800), intakes of 18 nutrients were in moderate (rho=0.600-0.799), 11 nutrients in weak (rho=0.400-0.599), whereas intake values for five nutrients (arachidonic acid, niacin, alpha-linolenic acid, fluoride, total sugars) did not show any correlation between the assessment tools used. The results of the evaluation of dietary records with a web-based application and software are in a high correlation for energy intake and the content of macronutrients.
