Sinteza lantanoidnih luminescenčnih kompleksov

V diplomskem delu sem se posvetil sintezi lantanoidnih kompleksov s splošno formulo [LnIII(diketonat)3(bipiridin)]. Pripravil sem dvanajst produktov z uporabo dveh različnih lantanoidov, treh različnih diketonov in dveh različnih bipiridinskih ligandov, pri čemer je sedem spojin novih, pet pa že znanih. Komplekse sem okarakteriziral predvsem z NMR in rentgensko difrakcijo. Lantanoidni kompleksi kažejo tudi značilno emisijo svetlobe. Ta pojav sem preučil z metodama UV-VIS in merjenjem fluorescence.

• Title: Lanthanide luminescence complex synthesis

Abstract

The thesis focuses on synthesis of lanthanide complexes with the general formula [LnIII(diketonate)3(bipyridine)]. I have prepared twelve products by using two different lanthanides, three different diketones and two different bipyridine ligands, wherein seven compounds are new and five are already known. I have characterized the complexes mainly with NMR and X-ray crystallography. Lanthanide complexes also show typical light emission. I studied this phenomenon with the methods of UV-VIS and fluorescence measurement.
