Zaznavanje potreb oseb in družin z izkušnjo avtizma : magistrsko delo

Magistrsko delo je nadaljevanje diplomskega dela, ki je bilo osredotočeno na izkušnje staršev otrok s težavami v avtističnem spektru. Delo je prikazalo, s čim se starši soočajo po sumu na diagnozo. Moj namen je bil raziskati mnenja, izkušnje, zgodbe staršev in oseb s težavami v avtističnem spektru ter predloge, ki bi jim olajšali situacije, s katerimi se srečujejo. V nadaljevanju sem v magistrskem delu raziskala, kaj si širša populacija misli o predlogih za spremembe, ki sem jih dobila z diplomskim delom, in kakšne so še druge potrebe, ideje, želje ljudi. V delo je vključena raziskava, ki temelji ne rezultatih anket s starši otrok s težavami v avtističnem spektru in z osebami s težavami, ki so dopolnile 15 let.

• Title: Recognizing Needs of People with Autism and Their Families

Abstract

This master's thesis builds up on my paper. The paper focused on experiences of parents of children with autism spectrum disorders, showing what parents go through after suspecting a diagnosis. My aim was to examine opinions, experiences and stories of parents and people with autism spectrum disorders as well as their suggestions on how to alleviate challenges they face. I also studied what a broader public thinks about the suggestions for improvement collected in the context of the paper, and I identified other needs, ideas and desires of people. A part of the master's thesis is also a research based on results of a survey conducted in parents of children with autism spectrum disorders and people with disorders aged above 15 years.
