Abstract
Globalno segrevanje predstavlja vse večji problem zaradi svojih vplivov na okolje in ljudi. Vse več poudarka dajemo na čisto in neonesnaženo okolje ter na samo kvaliteto življenja. Zelena tribologija igra pomembno vlogo pri zmanjševanju izpustov ogljikovega dioksida v ozračje. Pomembna bo predvsem v prihodnosti zaradi svojega poudarka na izdelavi okolju prijaznih maziv in površin. Želeli smo ugotoviti, kje in v kolikšni meri lahko zelena tribologija pripomore k temu, da bo okolje bolj trajnostno. Ugotovili smo, da je zelena tribologija še relativno novo in nerazvito področje, zato je določevanje njenega dejanskega vpliva na okolje zahtevno in terja natančne analize globalnih podatkov številnih področij. V tej nalogi jih skušamo popisati in pojasniti.

Title:The impact of tribology on environmental changes
Abstract:
Global warming is a growing problem due to its effects on the environment and people. We place more and more emphasis on a clean and unpolluted environment and on the quality of life itself. Green tribology plays an important role in reducing carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. It will be important especially in the future due to its emphasis on the production of environmentally friendly lubricants and surfaces. We wanted to find out where and to what extent green tribology can contribute to making the environment more sustainable. We found that green tribology is still a relatively new and underdeveloped field, so determining its actual impact on the environment is challenging and requires accurate analysis of global data from many fields. In this task, we are trying to describe and explain them.
