Abstract
Kovični spoji v današnjem času še vedno predstavljajo pomembno vlogo v letalski kot tudi avtomobilski industriji. V zaključni nalogi je prikazana mehanska analiza enojnega kovičnega spoja dveh pločevin. Prikazan je analitičen izračun kontaktnega pritiska v spoju po poenostavljeni Hertz-ovi teoriji. V programu ABAQUS smo naredili dva različna numerična modela (linearni in nelinearni materialni model). Rezultate numerične analize, ki temelji na metodi končnih elementov (MKE), smo nato primerjali z analitičnimi rezultati. Opazili smo različne vrednosti kontaktnega pritiska nelinearnega modela v primerjavi z linearnim modelom po začetku plastične deformacije spoja. V zaključku naloge je opravljena primerjava rezultatov naloge z rezultati iz literature.

Title:
MECHANICAL ANALYSIS OF SINGLE RIVET JOINT
Abstract:
Nowadays rivet joints still play a major role in aviation and automobile industry. In this thesis a mechanical analysis of single rivet joint of two sheets is shown. According to the simplified Hertz theory an analytical calculation of the contact pressure in the joint is shown. Two different numerical models (linear and nonlinear rheological model) were created in ABAQUS. The result of numerical analysis, which is based on finite element method (FEM), were compared with the analytical results. Compared to linear model a different values of contact pressure were noticed in case of nonlinear model after the plastic deformation of joint. In the end a comparison between the results of this work and the results found in literature was made.
