Abstract
Obdobne povišane vrednosti nitratov, nitritov, fosfatov in kloridov nakazujejo vpliv bližnje poselitve in prometa.

Title:Hydrogeographical characteristics of lake Jasna
Abstract:
Artificial lake Jasna is one of the most popular tourist locations in the municipality and village Kranjska Gora. Despite the growth of tourism there are no official measurements of water quality in the lake or nearby Pišnica catchment, consequently there is no publicly accessible information. Therefore, I analysed certain physical and chemical parameters of water. I collected the samples on six monitoring sites over the period of one year. The effect of nearby traffic and population can be noted in increased values of nitrates, nitrites, phosphates, and chlorides. Despite some increased values, the lake has quite high self-cleaning abilities. That is due to its geographical location, should it have been different, the measured values could have been higher. Before the construction of the lake, there was an artificial, heated swimming pool. In the 90’s the first (northern) part of the lake was constructed and ten years later the second (southern) part. The lake is mostly filling with water subterraneous inflows from nearby river Pišnica and partly through smaller surface inflows. Its’s outflow is partly regulated by the lake’s keeper, mostly during the summer. The nearby holiday village also has a great impact on the area. The municipality of Kranjska Gora has pledged to follow some principles and orientations with joining the project called “Povezanost v Alpah”.
