The subject of consideration in the diploma thesis is norming of the production line.
Technologists must set time norms when planning work in production, to complete
accurate calculations and to reward performance. In the assigment, we focus on a
concrete problem in a company where time norms of operations have not yet been
introduced into regular practice. We measured the duration of each operation on the
production line and identified the bottleneck. The aim of the task is to establish a
norm and determine the reconstruction of the organization of production, to make it
as efficient as possible. We also want to achieve termination of the production line,
for which we need a previously set norm. Theoretical bases of standardization and
bottleneck problems in production are presented in detail. The result of the thesis is a
new plan for work on the production line and set norms.
