Oblikovanje in izdelava termokromnih etiket za večkratno uporabo

Namen diplomskega dela je bil izdelati termorkomne etikete za večkratno uporabo, ki bi uporabnikom pomagale določiti, kdaj je tekočina prevroča oziroma dovolj ohlajena za uživanje. Etikete so bile izdelane na materialu za večkratno uporabo, da so pripomogle k zmanjševanju količine odpadkov, saj se ena nalepka lahko uporabi večkrat in je ni potrebno zavreči po vsaki uporabi. V teoretičnem delu je obravnavan termokromizem in barve, ki se uporabljajo za termokromni tisk ter njihov razvoj. Prav tako je opisan postopek sitotiska, ki je bil uporabljen za tisk etiket, opis zgodovine razvoja etiket ter njihova pomembnost v današnjem času. Pomemben del v teoretičnem delu ima tudi aktivna embalaža, saj so termokromne etikete velik del oziroma pripomoček aktivne embalaže. Na koncu teoretičnega dela je dodana tudi raziskava trga, kjer je opisano, koliko podjetij že uporablja tovrstne etikete na trgu in na kakšen način jih uporabljajo. Rezultat diplomskega dela so torej termokromne etikete za večkratno uporabo, ki se uporabljajo kot dodana vrednost na skodelicah po lastni izbiri. Rezultati so pokazali, da so najprimernejše etikete za večkratno uporabo natisnjene na folijah.

• Title: Design and production of thermochrome labels for multiple uses

Abstract

The main focus of the diploma thesis was reshearch and aplication of thermochromic labels for multiple uses, which help users determine whether the drink is cold enough to drink safely. Labels were made out of reusable plastic therefore can be used multiple times. This also reduces the amount of waste keeping the production eviromentaly friendly. The theorethic part includes explanation of what thermochromism is, which colours are used in process of thermochromic printing and their development. In addition it also contains a detailed description of the screenprinting process which was used for printing the labels, the history behind the printing process and relevancy of the lables in our daily lives. A big portion of the theoretic part also focuses on active packaging and the research of the current market. Therefore the result of the diploma thesis are thermochromic labels for multiple uses, which are used as added value on cups of any choice. The results showed that the best material for labels for multiple uses is reusable foils.
