Abstract
Na področje energetske rabe odsluženega lesa in lesnih ostankov je močno posegla Uredba o predelavi nenevarnih odpadkov v trdno gorivo (Uredba). Uredba predpisuje maksimalne vrednosti izbranih onesnažil v lesu. V izbranih slovenskih lesnopredelovalnih podjetjih smo zbrali vzorce lesnih ostankov in s pomočjo XRF spektroskopije določili koncentracijo naslednjih elementov: Cl, Cr, Fe, Cu, Zn, As, Br, Pb in Hg. Večina analiziranih elementov je bila pod mejno vrednostjo predpisane v Uredbi za obdelan les z izjemo klora.

Title:Concentrations of inorganic pollutants in wood residues from Slovenian wood manufacturing companies : in view of Slovenian governmental ordinance on transformation of nonhazardous wastes to solid fuels
Abstract:
New Slovenian governmental ordinance on transformation of nonhazardous wastes to solid fuels has considerable impact on the use of recovered wood and wood residues for energetic purposes. This ordinance prescribes maximal concentrations for selected pollutants in wood. Therefore specimens of wood residues were collected in several Slovenian wood-manufacturing companies and concentrations of Cl, Cr, Fe, Cu, Zn, As, Br, Pb and Hg were determined using XRF. The concentration majority of the analysed elements were below prescribed maximal concentration with exception of chlorine.

Keywords:wood residues, pollutants, XRF, chlorine, heavy metals
