Abstract
V sklopu analize sem izdelal karto večjih geomorfoloških oblik območja in s pomočjo geološke karte in geoloških izsekov poskusil pojasniti določene mehanizme ugrezanja površja v Šaleški dolini.

Title:Analysis of geomorphological changes in the mining area of the Velenje Coal Mine
Abstract:
The topography of the Šalek valley has undergone major changes in the last 130 years, due to the effects of coal mining. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the historical changes of the surface features and to analyze the current state of the mining area's topography. I have fullfiled this purpose in two steps. First i have analyzed the historical changes of the Šalek lakes, which are the largest anthropogenic geomorphic features asociated with mining subsidence in the Šalek valley, using historical maps and orthophoto pictures. Next I have conducted a full geomorphic analysis of the current state of the mining area's landscape. As part of the analysis, I have made a map of the larger geomorphic features of the area. I have also used a geological map and geological cross sections of the area in order to try and determine certain mechanisms of the land subsidence in the area. I have concluded, that historically, topography changes have occured much faster than today, and they also encompassed a larger area than today. The most anthropogenically geomorphically altered area today can be found between the Velenje and Družmirje lakes. The other areas, surrounding the Šalek lakes are no longer sinking and most of the anthropogenic gemorphic features in said areas have been rehabilitated.
