Abstract
V otroški poeziji pesniki radi uporabijo kakšno izmišljeno besedo, ki spodbudi »bralca« k oblikovanju domišljijske predstave o stvareh in junakih. Morda nerazumevanje besede moti otroško percepcijo, ker se do njenega pomena ne morejo dokopati z logičnim sklepanjem na podlagi sobesedila. V prispevku bomo poiskali igrive besede, ki s svojim zvenom in izmišljenimi pomeni pomagajo otroku ustvariti čudovit domišljijski svet (nakapa, pokribuki, sanjebuki, zbudilka, Pedenjcarstvo, lilibuki, Škratjedol, Tožibaba, Džunglaraja, srečnolonice ipd.). Poiskali bomo estetske in pomenske učinke besed, ki presegajo racionalno razmišljanje.

Abstract:
In children’s poetry, it is common to give literary characters imaginary names in order to invite readers to create their own imaginary perception of the character. As children might be unable to discern the meaning using logical deduction, lack of comprehension could hinder their perception of the character. The article analyses playful words whose sounds and seemingly fictitious images aid children in creating a wonderful imaginary world (nakapa, pokribuki, sanjebuki, zbudilka, Pedenjcarstvo, lilibuki, Škratjedol, Tožibaba, Džunglaraja, srečnolonice, etc.). Furthermore, I will identify aesthetic and semantic effects which surpass rational thinking by using word play.
