In the master thesis an analysis of the servo drive system used in servo positioning device in our company is presented. The objective of the final thesis is an analysis of a replacement of current servomotor, built into the considered servo drive system, with the new generation and determination of its impact on the entire servo drive system. At the beginning of the master thesis, the basic characteristics of the structure of servo positioning devices and the built-in servo drive system are presented. The elements that make up the servo drive system are described in more detail. This is servomotor, belt drive and cycloid gearbox drive. The following is a presentation of machine elements and their properties, which are built into the considered servo drive system. In the main part of the master thesis, an analysis of the existing servo drive system is performed. To analyze the impact of the new generation of servomotor on the entire servo drive system, the state of the old generation system needs to be known. The analysis of the system includes the calculation of the belt drive and the analysis of the cycloid gearbox, which determines the final characteristics of the entire servo drive system. This is followed by comparison of both servomotors and variations between them and presentation of variations between servo drives systems with the old and the new generation of servomotors. The obtained results and findings will be considered for selecting a suitable servo drive system for overcoming the required loads.
