The new left has appeared in the US since the 1920s. In my master's the job, I will focus mainly on the influence that New Left has brought and on the achievements or that are still visible today. The main problem on which the task will focus is therefore the remnants of the New Left's influence in the US, particularly in relation to the new capitalism that began to develop after 2008 or after the election of Democratic President Obama in the US. The new Left has always been visible throughout US history and has influenced the political system in both a positive and negative way. Its rise has come several times throughout the years of visible action, and throughout the work of democracy in the United States, the New Left has laid some foundations, particularly in the area of social policies and equality. After a brief decline, it came back in the 21st century after the global financial crisis and the election of President Barack Obama in 2008. In my mission, I will also highlight the ups and downs of these movements linked to the New Left and what events have led to these ups and downs. However, given the increasing influence of global capitalism and, above all, changes in capitalism in and after the crisis, so much of the task will relate mainly to the relationship between the New Left and the so-called new capitalism and the new financial markets and the balances of power that have been created in the US during and after the economic crisis.
