Abstract
V diplomski nalogi smo obravnavali oblikovanje spletne aplikacije, ki je namenjena načrtovanju potovanj, s poudarkom na dobri uporabniški izkušnji. Oblikovanje uporabniške izkušnje poteka v štirih osnovnih korakih: uporabniška raziskava, oblikovanje, uporabniško testiranje in implementacija. Zadnji korak smo izpustili in ga nadomestili z analizo sentimenta, s katero smo pridobili kvantitativne podatke iz kvalitativnih. Z uporabniško raziskavo smo določili, kakšne informacije in funkcionalnosti bo spletna aplikacija vsebovala. Za oblikovanje informacijske arhitekture in prototipa smo izhajali iz ugotovitev uporabniške raziskave. Ko smo imeli oblikovan prvi končni prototip, je sledilo testiranje s strani uporabnikov. Testiranje smo izvedli v dveh iteracijah. Po vsaki smo dopolnili prototip v skladu z ugotovitvami testiranja in naredili analizo sentimenta na odgovorih udeležencev. S tem smo pridobili kvantitativne podatke o tem, ali je prototip ustrezal pričakovanjem udeležencev. Po drugem testiranju, glede na rezultate analize sentimenta, ni bilo več prisotnega negativnega sentimenta v odgovorih, zato smo s testiranjem prenehali. Z opisanim postopkom smo oblikovali prototip aplikacije, ki uporabnikom sestavi pot potovanja glede na njihove želje, hkrati pa je intuitivna za uporabo.

Title:Designing the user experience and using sentiment analysis to evaluate qualitative data
Abstract:
For this diploma thesis, we designed a web application for planning a trip by focusing on user experience (UX). The user experience design process consists of four steps: user research, design, testing and implementation. The implementation was replaced by sentiment analysis with which we collected quantitative data from qualitative one. Based on the user research we determined which information and functionalities our web application will have. We then applied our findings to design the informational architecture and prototype. After the first version of the prototype was done, we started testing it with potential users. Testing was done in two iterations and after each iteration, we changed the prototype according to the findings. We also conducted a sentiment analysis of participants’ answers. We collected quantitative data on whether the prototype met the expectations of the participants. After the second iteration of the testing, there was no longer negative sentiment present among the answers, so we stopped with the testing. With the described process we designed an application prototype that plans a trip for users according to their wishes while being intuitive to use.
